Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.
New Day CrossFit is proud to introduce NewFit, our new high-intensity interval training(HIIT), core-focused program. We have taken our experience with functional, results-oriented fitness, removed the heavy barbells and complex movements to create the perfect program for new athletes before they take on our full CrossFit program.
Our Barbell Club follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level to more advanced cycles prepping lifters for WODs or competition. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique and strength or want to pursue lifting as a sport, this barbell class is for you.
Who says adults get to have all the fun? Our Youth Training program is powered by The Brand X Method™ (The only such facility to offer this in Virginia!), which is deliberately designed to provide kids ages 3-18 with what exercise science, including research from the American Academy of Pediatrics, has determined are vital components of human health and well-being. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. Our Youth Training program provides children with physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and the classroom.
In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time to get regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have. New Day CrossFit offers a wide range of personal workout programs to help you achieve your ideal body. Your personal trainer will develop an exercise regimen suited specifically for you, whether your goal is to gain muscle or lose weight.
Team workouts held every Saturday morning at 9:00am.The movements are not technical and can be scaled to any fitness level. The partner selection is random. Team WODs are a lot of fun and communication is key. You will get a chance to workout with people you may not normally get a chance to, and with a team you can accomplish more than you can on your own. Team WOD really gives you a chance to challenge and push yourself!
Recess for grown-ups. In Open Gym, you have to freedom to use our gym any way you want. Make up a missed class, work on “homework” from your coach, practice skills you’re still mastering … the options are limitless.
