My main interest is focusing on form. As a box we have a couple of slogans we live by: “Focus on the Fundamentals” and “Getting Better Everyday”. I push my athletes to really work on their form in all of the movements performed in CrossFit. I provide them the knowledge to understand how crucial it is to have a firm grasp on their form prior to increasing their intensity in the WODs. Because in the long run if the athletes continually focus on the fundamentals their performance inside and outside of the box will get better on a daily basis.
Facts about Jessica Jackson -
First and foremost I am a mom of two amazing kids, Marley and Chase. They are my why… why I want to be a better person, better athlete, better coach. I stumbled upon CrossFit in 2012 shortly after having my son, I was struggling getting back to my pre-baby weight. After my first class, I was immediately hooked. I had no idea that would lead me to where I am today! It is truly an honor to be able to train the athletes at our facility and watch their transformations as they continue on this crazy journey of CrossFit! Outside of CrossFit, I enjoy running, doing yoga, and spending time with my family.
