CrossFit Level 1, CPR
My interests are in mobility and gymnastics. I believe that mobility will have one of the greatest impacts on your success in CrossFit. The ability to be able to move your body freely into many different positions will help prevent injuries while optimizing athletic performance. I love the simplicity and the control of the body in gymnastics. Gymnastics requires a multitude of skills such as strength, flexibility, balance and coordination to perform the exercises. Focusing on mobility and gymnastics will provide you with a solid foundation of functional movements.

I discovered CrossFit and Fitness later in my life than many others. I played sports when I was much younger but fitness wasn’t a priority in my life until recently. After completing physical therapy for a neck injury related to poor posture, I was determined to make a fundamental change. Since December 2013, I have been an active practitioner of the CrossFit methodology. I especially enjoy the mental aspect of lifting and gymnastics. Knowing how inspired I am by CrossFit my wife, Lauren, gave me the opportunity to attend the CrossFit Level 1 Seminar. I learned so many things I knew I had to share my knowledge with our community. Thankfully, Kevin and Jessica Jackson have given me the opportunity to learn the art of instructing at New Day CrossFit. I’m very excited to be a Coaching Intern and can’t wait to see you there!
